Fraudsters advertise fake vaccines, Europol warns

At the start of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in a number of European countries, the European Police Office warns against fraudsters. “The danger is that criminals are trying to exploit the huge demand for the vaccine,” says director Catherine de Bolle in an interview for German newspapers on Sunday.

According to her, there are concrete indications of this: ‘social networks are already being targeted. Those who go into it or get nothing delivered after payment, or they get fake vaccines.”
