With 50,000 new infections per day, NHS asks to get back to the mask mandate again

Healthcare professionals in the UK are sounding the alarm. They’re asking for new measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus. The country now counts 50,000 new infections every day. The National Health Service wants the government to make mouth masks compulsory again, but the government has no ears for the time being.

According to British Trade minister Kwasi Karteng, the economy should continue to run now that vaccination rates are so high, but the National Health Service fears that winter, flu season and the upcoming international climate conference in Glasgow will create a perfect storm.
