The Met Office has forecast snow for Leeds next week

The white stuff is coming to Leeds. Everybody loves the festive season, and Leed’s Christmas spirit is already on peak display almost everywhere. The idea of a white Christmas is still possible but snow in the build-up towards that is always appreciated.

Now, it appears, confirmation of the first December snow showers has come through. Snow is expected in Leeds on Friday, December 9, less than a week from today.

Temperatures are expected to drop massively from Wednesday, December 3, going as low as a maximum of 3C. This will carry on into Friday, December 9 when early morning showers will end in some snow.

In Leeds, the snow is expected to start around 7am. It will carry on until midday.

There is also a huge possibility of sunny spells, even as the snow falls. This would make a beautiful scenery where the white stuff hits the yellow sun lit backdrops.
