The booming Leeds business that has doubled its turnover and staff in lockdown

Leeds based business Art of Cloud has doubled it’s turnover to £750k. A Leeds business that works with Rolls Royce and GHD has flourished in lockdown to double both its turnover – and its staffing.

Customer relationship management consultancy Art of Cloud has seen rapid growth since the start of the COVID-19 crisis – doubling revenue to £750,000 and hiring eight new members of staff.

And the company is aiming even higher for 2021, aspiring to reach a turnover of £1.5 million and double staff again from 15 to 30.

Among the company’s clients are Rolls Royce, GHD and Formula-E, but the Horsforth-based business says at least 50% of its clients are from the Yorkshire area.

After moving into new office space in Horsforth, the business had to adjust quickly to remote working when the Covid crisis hit, which provided a challenge for a tight-knit team that was used to working closely together on projects for clients.

Chief executive Ben Stevenson said: “One of our biggest challenges through COVID was that our team wasn’t getting together to bounce ideas off each other over a beer or a game of Mario Kart.
