No coronavirus-related deaths reported in Leeds for over a month

There has been no coronavirus related deaths recorded in Leeds hospitals in the last 24 hours.

This means the city has gone more than a month without any new Covid-19 related deaths.

Sadly, the death toll in Yorkshire rose as one patient, aged 85 years old, with a known underlying health condition sadly died at Bradford Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.

The patient’s date of death was September 13 (Sunday) and their families have been informed.

However, no other deaths were recorded in the country, therefore this brings the total number of confirmed coronavirus deaths in hospitals in England to 29,662.

This means that Yorkshire’s current death toll from the coronavirus has reached 2,604.
