Mott MacDonald expands to the Leeds downtown

The company signed a lease agreement for 5,500 square meters of office space at No 1 Leeds, Whitehall Road, Leeds.

The company has taken the fifth floor of the building, which is owned by Credit Suisse Asset Management, on a 10-year lease. Eamonn Fox of Knight Frank, who advised Credit Suisse Asset Management, said: ‘This is a very significant deal and confirms that 26 Whitehall Road is one of the best office buildings in the city.

26 Whitehall Road is already home to well-known companies such as Yorkshire Post Newspapers, global consumer finance company International Personal Finance (IPF), energy company Engie (formerly GDF Suez) and Sky. These tenants confirm the high quality and good location of 26 Whitehall Road.

This deal is one of the biggest deals of the last three months and underlines the strength of the Leeds office market.

Lisa Littlefair, Head of Leeds City Region at Mott MacDonald, said: ‘We are delighted to expand our presence in Leeds city centre’.
