£50,000 houses in Leeds come with a catch

A home for less than price of a moderately flash car. Everyone knows it’s a nightmare to get on the property ladder and while Leeds may be a lot cheaper than, say, London, it’s on the pricier end of Yorkshire’s cities.

But even though there are parts of Leeds where a house could set you back £500,000 to £1million, there are still bargain buys to be had.

This lot of properties are all on sale right now and could be snapped up for as little as £50k – or less.

And we’re not just talking dilapidated wrecks that need another £100,000 spending on them to fix up, either.

We’ve not included shared ownership properties or student or OAP only properties.

Some of these are for sale by auction and may fetch more than their guide prices, of course.
