Aldi offers local strawberries year-round

Thanks to Aldi’s collaboration with a Somerset cultivation company, the first winter strawberries will be harvested in the UK. Thanks to the collaboration between Bradon Soft Fruit Farm and Aldi, UK consumers will be able to enjoy ripe and juicy strawberries that are in season all year round.

Growing strawberries all year round also means job security for workers and fewer food kilometres and a smaller CO2 footprint. The British supplier of soft fruit Angus Soft Fruits has also invested in the project at Bradon Farm to meet the demand of the British for Sustainable, first-class Soft Fruits that are available all year round.
